Dunlop Conveyor Belting is a part of the wider Fenner Dunlop group, which is one of the largest conveyor belt manufacturers in the world. Fenner Dunlop have manufacturing plants on five continents and produce one of the most complete product ranges available today. This combined with world class research and development facilities, an unsurpassed reputation for quality and excellent technical abilities has put Dunlop Conveyor belting at the forefront of conveyor belting today.
This strong partnership is backed up by our own technical knowledge and service. We hold a large and varied stock of conveyor belting at our premises in Castlewarden. This is then further backed up by stocks held in Holland which extend to over 375km of belting. This ensures that even specialised belts such as oil resistant, heat resistant and fire resistant are available on very short lead times.
Dunlop conveyor belting has the following outstanding features:
Dunlop have also pioneered several developments such as UsFlex, an extremely tough straight-warp single and dual ply belting construction. This product uses a unique weave which makes it up to five times more impact resistant than standard Dunlop belting and also significantly more impact resistant than competing straight warp products. UsFlex is the ideal choice for use in heavy duty primary application and mobile plant where large lump size and small drum diameters quickly deteriorate standard plied belts.
Dunlop Ultra X Conveyor belting is the latest innovation in conveyor belting and has been spearheaded by Dunlop Conveyor Belting. Ultra X is a range of conveyor belts which breaks with tradition by removing the normal 2 to 5 plies and replace it with a single ply of Dunlop Ultra X carcass. This heavy duty ply is woven in Dunlop’s own facilities in the USA and combined with the highest quality covers when it is produced in Drachten, The Netherlands. The result is a belt offering significantly improved impact and rip & tear resistance, whilst maintaining a lower overall thickness and improved flexibility. This makes it ideal for modern plant with high demands and small pulley sizes. Ultra X also offers excellent fastener retention and abuse resistance making it extremely suitable for use in the recycling industry. Ultra X1 & X3 are both standard stocked specifications and are available from stock both from C&K Fitzpatrick and Dunlop Conveyor Belting.
Not every belt fits neatly into the standard criteria. To accommodate this, we manufacture a wide range of custom belts with cleating applied (either hot or cold bonded), longitudinally spliced belts for extremely wide widths, sidewall belts and guided belts. Much of this work is done in-house by our experienced staff, using high quality Dunlop base belts. This allows us to achieve consistent quality and short production times even for specialised belts.
We also have facility to call on high quality manufacturing facilities for production of heavy duty sidewall belts, oil and heat resistant manufactured belts along with specialised custom moulded belts. These manufactures are all European based ensuring that quality and lead times remain competitive.
